This is an opportunity for us to improve greening and cooling in Benalla, as well as habitat for native birds and wildlife on council land. National Tree Planting Day is an initiative of Planet Ark and is Australia's largest tree planting event. Andie Guerin, co-ordinator of the Regent Honeyeater Project will speak about his project.
A free BBQ will be provided at the end of the day.

- Sunday 28th July from 11am to 1pm.
- Parking at the Fawkner Drive Car Park
- Meet near the Skate Park by 11am. We will then walk to the planting area (Psaltis Reserve)
- All tools and equipment provided
- BYO drinking water and gloves
- Wear clothing suitable for the weather, and sturdy enclosed shoes
