The Ecoportal is a website listing sustainability related events and groups in Albury-Wodonga, North East Victoria and Southern New South Wales.  The Ecoportal seeks to; • Offer a central place for the promotion of upcoming sustainability events; • Provide links, information and contact details of local sustainability groups; • Encourage the sharing of skills, knowledge and resources locally; and • Add to opportunities to network with others.

North East Regional Sustainability Alliance

The North East Regional Sustainability Alliance (NERSA) is a network of community sustainability groups - Albury/Wodonga; Yack Sustainability; Beechworth Urban Landcare and Sustainability (BULS); Wangaratta Sustainability Network (WSN) and Benalla Sustainable Future Group - which acts collaboratively with communities, agencies and organisations across the region to:

Strathbogie Voices

Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF)

"The Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF) stands for ecological sustainability. "We get to the heart of environmental problems by tackling the underlying social and economic causes. We work across society to influence urgent, transformative action to deliver lasting change on the scale required to secure a sustainable environment. We bring people together to champion the true value of our environment and its critical role in sustaining all other systems and in achieving human wellbeing."   ACF Principles Statement

Community Climate Action - An Australian Guide

Community Climate Action - An Australian Guide was produced by the Australian Conservation Foundation to support Australians from all walks of life keen to reduce Australia's contribution to climate change using strategies from the personal to the political.

Project Drawdown

Project Drawdown is a nonprofit organization that seeks to help the world reach “Drawdown”— the future point in time when levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere stop climbing and start to steadily decline.  A leading resource for information and insight about climate solutions, Project Drawdown conducts rigorous review and assessment of climate solutions and supports the growing constellation of efforts to move climate solutions forward and move the world toward Drawdown—as quickly, safely, and equitably as possible.

World Wildlife Fund: Our Human Footprint

Every human activity demands natural resources and produces waste. The measure of that impact on the environment is called our Ecological Footprint.

Environment Victoria

Environment Victoria is one of Australia’s leading environment groups working to safeguard our environment and the future.

Zero Carbon Australia

Beyond Zero Emissions Inc. is a not-for-profit research and education organisation known for its work designing and implementing a zero emissions economy for Australia. Its goal is to transform Australia from a 19th century fossil fuel based, emissions intensive, economy to a 21st-century renewable-energy-powered clean-tech economy.

Zero Carbon Australia Land Use: Agriculture and Forestry

Agriculture and forestry are the only sectors of the Australian economy that can draw carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere by sequestering it in growing plants and in the soil. The agriculture and forestry sectors can mitigate climate impacts on the land, bringing prosperity to rural areas in the process.
