Funding the Activities of Benalla Sustainable Future Group Inc.

Benalla Sustainable Future Group Inc. funds its activities in a number of ways.

Our primary source of funding are our memberships which are currently $25 per year or $60 for three years.  If you would like to become a member please see our Join page for more information and to download our membership form.

Our Food Co-op also provides funds through its membership and any small return made on Food Co-op Sales.  The Food Co-op operates on a not for profit basis and relies on its member volunteers to operate the shop.

Another source of funding has been Benalla Rural City Council Grants which have enabled BSFG to acquire facilities for the Food Co-op, to set up our website, and other facilities which assists BSFG's work in the community, such as a data projector for use at our meetings.

Benalla Sustainable Future Group now accepts donations.  Although BSFG is not a Deductible Gift Recipient for tax purposes you may still wish to donate funds to assist BSFG carry out its work in the commuity.  Donations can be made by cheque or direct transfer. You can make your donation by downloading and completing our Donation Form and posting to us.  Details are on the form.     BSFG action group Renewable Energy Benalla has also initiated an online donation facility for the Community Energy Project's revolving fund to install solar panels and other energy-saving projects on community facilities in and around Benalla.  Donations to the project's revolving fund can also be made at the Bendigo Bank - find out more..
