An enthusiastic turnout gathered on September 8 to watch Swanpool Cinema's special screening of 'Rachel's Farm', travelling alongside Rachel Ward as she transitioned to regenerative farming.   A chance to learn more about regenerative agriculture; how it storeys biodiversity, land health and also produces healthy food; also to learn how to connect with consumers of regeneratively produced food.

An inspiring film, with many staying behind after the film for informal discussion.

"We had a great turnout tonight to our special screening of “Rachel’s Farm”, followed by a delicious supper.Thank you to Swanpool LandCare and Benalla Sustainable Future Group for your support!"  Swanpool Cinema Facebook Post

Swanpool Cinema Special Screening - ‘RACHEL’S FARM’ (Single feature) Friday 7.00 pm 8 September 2023

In this uplifting documentary, actor Rachel Ward sets out to regenerate her northern NSW’s beef farm, with the help of experts and neighbours. From ignorance about the ecological impacts of conventional agriculture on her own property which has been besieged by drought and bushfires, to embracing a movement of regeneration.

Rachel's Farm is a film for anyone who cares about how their food is produced, the health of our soils, and the changing role of women on farms.
