BSFG's Greening Benalla Action Group has an exciting day planned for Benalla locals on Sunday 26th May from 10 am to 1pm.
The Benalla Sustainable Future Group is organising a Plant a Tree day with nature games, social connection and a BBQ with funding from the Social Inclusion Action Group.
It will be a fun day of Wayapa Wuurrk, a contemporary earth mindfulness based on ancient Indigenous wisdom which combines story with a sequence of movements to connect with ourselves and nature, and some fun and interactive nature games for all ages and abilities. We will also have a FREE barbeque and attendees can take home a tree or shrub to plant in their garden or on their nature strip.
